“Radio Panteion” is the online radio station of Panteion University. It is an initiative of students from all nine Departments of the University located on Syngrou Avenue.

The academic staff members responsible for the station are Stavros Kaperonis and Angeliki Gazi, both teaching staff members of the Department of Communication, Media and Culture. The contribution of the Rector, Christina Koulouri, has also been significant in the establishment and support of the station.

Radio Panteion is managed by its Production Team, namely the student radio producers, in cooperation with the academic staff members responsible for the station.

More than 100 students have hosted radio programmes on Radio Panteion. Its schedule covers a wide range of topics, while many of its programmes are also available on Spotify.

Since 4 April 2022, Radio Panteion has reached more than 70,000 unique listeners and has carried out dozens of live event broadcasts, including student elections, national and local government elections, student association mobilisations and other events.

Its second channel, “Radio Panteion Sports”, has broadcast more than 100 live football matches from the Greek Super League 1 and Super League 2 in six different cities: Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Agrinio, Ioannina and Volos. The sports channel also broadcasts basketball matches, as well as Formula 1 races.
