Internship Programme

The purpose of the Internship Programme is to create a bridge between academic education and the labour market. This action aims to:

  1. develop young people’s professional skills and provide them with the necessary tools for smoother integration into the workplace and the wider social environment;
  2. help students identify their comparative advantages in professional and research settings, thereby supporting them in choosing the most suitable career path or postgraduate studies;
  3. familiarise students with research, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in the fields of the public sector, the private sector and civil society.

The Internship Programme is paid, and students are insured for the duration of their internship, which lasts three months per academic semester.

The Internship Office of Panteion University serves as a stable channel of communication between the University and enterprises, as well as public- and private-sector bodies. Its purpose is to facilitate the integration of students into the country’s productive system and to support the professional application of the knowledge they acquire during their undergraduate studies.

The Internship Office also aims to create incentives both for increasing student participation and for attracting a larger number of host organisations for internships.
