International Mobility – International Credit Mobility

Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreements with Countries outside Europe
(Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility)

Since 2015, Erasmus+ has also supported the mobility of students, researchers and staff from other parts of the world to and from Europe. This two-way mobility enables students to study at a foreign university for a period of 3 to 12 months and to receive credits, which are subsequently recognised by the sending institution as part of their degree. Since 2018, traineeships have also been possible. Grants are also available for staff mobility for periods ranging from 5 to 60 days.

Institutions from Programme Countries establish bilateral partnerships, through Inter-Institutional Agreements, with institutions in Partner Countries and submit applications on behalf of their international partners. A significant number of agreements have been concluded with countries such as Russia, Moldova and Ukraine.

The growing number of partnerships and the strengthening of international cooperation reflect Panteion University’s international strategy and outward-looking orientation, with the aim of enhancing its attractiveness, developing international networks, improving quality and promoting modernisation.
