The Panteion University Gym operates on the premises of the former Oasis Cinema in Neos Kosmos, which has been renovated and now serves as the University’s main space for physical exercise and sports activities.

The Gym has followed a path of dynamic development, as reflected in its organisation of events such as the pioneering “Katatopia Festival” and the “Games of Friendship and Equality” since 2009. This development is also demonstrated by numerous major individual and team distinctions, including Panteion University’s korfball team winning Panhellenic championships.

Further evidence of this progress can be seen in the many medals won in student competitions, including table tennis, with four-time winner K. Lagogiannis, and tennis, with Panhellenic champion P. Gemouchidis, among several others.

There is strong interest and participation among Panteion University students, who have the opportunity to take part in internal championships organised by the Gym, including popular sports such as 5-a-side football, basketball and table tennis. Students may also participate in various classes, including martial arts, dance and mind sports, as well as engage in weight training, use gym equipment, take part in hiking activities and more.
