International Strategy
Panteion University pursues an internationalization strategy that integrates education, research, academic cooperation, and societal outreach within a unified international framework. The University aims to strengthen its international academic presence, expand strategic collaborations, enhance the mobility of students and staff, and promote interdisciplinary research and teaching in areas related to the social, political, economic, and legal sciences. Particular emphasis is placed on fostering international academic dialogue, supporting multilingualism and intercultural exchange, and reinforcing the University’s participation in the European Higher Education Area and the broader global academic community.

Strategic Partnerships
Panteion University develops strategic partnerships with universities, research centres, academic networks, international organisations, public institutions, and cultural bodies worldwide. These collaborations support joint research initiatives, academic exchanges, co-organised conferences and educational activities, joint and double degree programmes, as well as broader institutional cooperation. The University places particular emphasis on long-term partnerships that contribute to academic excellence, innovation, and international visibility.
Mobility
The University actively promotes academic mobility as a core component of internationalisation. Through Erasmus+, Erasmus+ International Mobility, and bilateral cooperation agreements, students, faculty members, researchers, and administrative staff are encouraged to participate in study visits, teaching assignments, training activities, research exchanges, and traineeships abroad. Mobility programmes contribute to the development of international academic experience, intercultural competences, and transnational cooperation.
International Research Projects
Panteion University participates in international and European research projects addressing contemporary global challenges in the fields of social sciences, political studies, law, governance, sustainability, migration, digital transformation, human rights, energy, and public policy. Jean Monnet Activities
The University has a strong presence in the field of European Studies through Jean Monnet Chairs, Modules, Centres of Excellence, and related academic activities supported by the European Union. Jean Monnet initiatives at Panteion University promote teaching, research, public debate, and policy dialogue on European integration, European governance, European law, democracy, human rights, sustainability, and contemporary European challenges.
Summer Schools
